They will go one after another which will most likely in destroying the Colony and having a Zero return to HQ.īEFORE attempting Zero Virus stage 3, save on an extra slot to avoid another playthrough, so when going to stage 3, you can go there with either X or Zero to battle your partner and finish up with that character and beat Sigma. He is gone from the game here as well.īut here's the important part for the achievement:ģ.) Let Zero go Maverick, and beat the game with X.ĮDIT: Collect the space shuttle parts first (4 mavericks on the right), then the ones for the Enigma. If you run out of time, the colony will crash into Earth, the Zero Virus willīe formed, and Zero will go Maverick. Not only do you get to battle Zero, but he is more powerful and has twice the endurance. Zero becomes infected with the virus and go Maverick. The Sigma and Colony Viruses combine to form the Zero Virus. The remnants of the colony enter the atmosphere and crash into the Earth, causing mass destruction with few survivors. The shuttle crashes into the colony, but it is not destroyed and Zero does not escape. This also ends up with either Zero vs X, or X vs Zero, depending on which character you choose in the third Zero Virus stage. The shuttle succeeds in crashing into and destroying the colony, and Zero escapes safely.
Zero will pilot the shuttle, which will attempt to crash into and destroy the colony. If you have already unsuccessfully shot the Enigma, you may launch the shuttle at any time if you have time left, but you will be required to launch it once you defeat all 8 Mavericks.
